Danielle is an accomplished artist with a background in neuropsychology, business, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Studio Art from Georgia State University. In addition to her degrees and certifications, she has Gottman I & II training in couples’ therapy. Danielle’s clients are from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a mixed/multicultural individual, she brings awareness to the complexities of identity. She works with an array of ages, diagnoses, and labels. Danielle not only utilizes evidence-based client-centered theories, but also integrates playful and creative art interventions. She believes that holistic healing requires the creativity of play/art therapy techniques in therapy to help express emotional experiences that are too complex or abstract to verbalize.
