Rachel Ledbetter, LMFT

Rachel Ledbetter, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist in good standing and the chief executive officer and co-founder of Motivo, a managed clinical supervision platform connecting behavioral health organizations to a national network of more than 1,200 vetted clinical supervisors. Ledbetter started the company out of direct experience with the problem it solves. While accruing hours toward licensure, Ledbetter drove two hours each way to a supervision appointment, paid for those sessions out of pocket, and gave up a full day of billable work for each one. Earlier clinical work included providing therapy to chronically homeless adults on Skid Row in Los Angeles and supporting families through Georgia HOPE. Ledbetter writes and speaks regularly on clinical supervision, access to licensure, and behavioral health workforce development, the subject of this session.
