Between 2022 and 2026, Motivo collected more than 630 written recommendations from behavioral health associates describing the supervisors who shaped them. This session presents the 12 themes that emerged most consistently across that dataset, the qualities and behaviors that supervisees said made the biggest difference in their development. Grounded in real associate voices rather than abstract competency models, this town hall offers practicing supervisors a field-tested look at what transforms a supervisory relationship, plus concrete practices they can bring into their very next session.
